Wellcome Trust invites applications for Wellcome Discovery Awards. This scheme provides funding for established researchers and teams from any discipline who want to pursue bold and creative research ideas to deliver significant shifts in understanding that could improve human life, health and wellbeing.
Eligibility
DAAD Scholarship for Students from Developing Countries
The MIPLC is a part of the DAAD's scholarship program for "Development-Related Postgraduate Courses". The scholarship recipients will be granted a full waiver of the MIPLC tuition and participation fee. In addition, the DAAD will pay the scholarship recipients a monthly stipend of EUR 850. As a rule, the scholarship also includes certain payments towards health, accident and liability insurance coverage in Germany. Furthermore, the DAAD will generally pay an appropriate travel allowance, unless these costs are covered by the home country or by another funding source.
William T. Grant Scholars Program
The William T. Grant Scholars Program supports career development for promising early-career researchers. The program funds five-year research and mentoring plans that significantly expand researchers’ expertise in new disciplines, methods, and content areas. Applicants should have a track record of conducting high-quality research and an interest in pursuing a significant shift in their trajectories as researchers.

Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program
Chinese University Program is a full scholarship for designated Chinese universities and certain provincial education offices in specific provinces or autonomous regions to recruit outstanding international students for graduate studies in China. It only supports graduate students. Scholarship students can register for either a Chinese-taught program or English-taught program if applicable. This scholarship supports master’s students for not more than three academic years or doctoral students for no more than four academic years.

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Algebraic Geometry
Position as Postdoctoral Research Fellowship available in Algebraic Geometry to be based at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Oslo. The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) is open to citizens of certain developing countries with relevant professional experience and a history of supporting their countries’ development efforts who are applying to a master degree program in a development-related topic. Subject to available funding, JJWBGSP offers scholarships for the Participating Programs at universities in the U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania and Japan in key areas of development, including economic policy management, tax policy, and infrastructure management.
PhD Fellowship in Hybrid Polymer Electrolytes for Solid State Batteries
A PhD Fellowship in Energy Storage is available at the Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering, POLYMAT Fundazioa and at CIDETEC Foundation. The main goal of this PhD thesis will be to develop novel hybrid block polymers stable to high voltage cathodes (> 4.5V Li/Li+), with special attention to micro homogeneity, self-healing, and Li protection.
